Processing technology
Smelting: Melt tantalum raw materials (such as tantalum powder, tantalum waste, etc.) at high temperature. Common smelting methods include electron beam melting, vacuum arc melting, etc.
Forging: After heating the tantalum ingot, apply pressure through the forging equipment to make it plastically deformed, improve the organizational structure of tantalum, and improve its mechanical properties.
Rolling: Pass the tantalum billet between the rollers of the rolling mill, the thickness decreases and the length increases.
Cutting: According to the size and shape requirements of the workpiece, the tantalum material is cut into the required billet or semi-finished product by cutting technology.
Surface treatment: In order to improve the surface quality, corrosion resistance and other properties of tantalum workpieces, the workpieces need to be surface treated, such as pickling, polishing, oxidation treatment, etc.
