On 2 January 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) issued a notice to initiate the first anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review investigation on the imports of aluminium alloy sheets (Alloy Aluminum Sheet) from China. At the same time, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the first double-anti-subsidiary review investigation of industrial injury on the above products, to examine whether, if the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures are eliminated, the substantial injury to the U.S. domestic industry caused by the imports of the products in question will continue or reoccur within a reasonably foreseeable period of time. Interested parties shall register their response with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days of the date of this announcement. The interested party shall file a response with the USITC by 1 February 2024 and submit comments to the USITC no later than 11 March 2024 on the adequacy of the response in the case. On 28 November 2017, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it had initiated antidumping and countervailing investigations into imports of aluminium alloy sheet from China.On 7 November 2018, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it had made final antidumping and countervailing determinations with respect to imports of aluminium alloy sheet from China.
