High Purity Vanadium Rods

High purity vanadium rods are mainly used in the aerospace industry where 8-10% of vanadium metal is used in the form of titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloys for aircraft engines, spacecraft cabin skeletons, missiles, steam turbine blades, rocket engine housings, etc. In addition, vanadium alloys are used in magnetic materials, cemented carbide, superconducting materials, and nuclear reactor materials.

The high purity vanadium bars produced by Yusheng Metals are made of high purity vanadium powder, which is a refractory metal with a melting point of 1890 °C and a boiling point of 3380 °C and is insoluble in water, the refractory metal have a high melting point, low vapor pressure, high modulus of elasticity and high thermal stability. Refractory metals are also characterized by a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Compared to other refractory metals, vanadium has a relatively low density of 6.0 g/cm³.
