Customized niobium processing parts as needed

Niobium processed parts are various irregular and standard shaped products made from pure niobium (usually with a purity of 99.9% -99.99%) or niobium alloys (such as Nb Ti, Nb Zr, Nb Ta, etc.) as raw materials, through a series of precision processing techniques such as rolling, forging, stretching, cutting, and welding. With its excellent high temperature resistance (melting point 2468 ℃), strong corrosion resistance, good low-temperature toughness, and mechanical formability, niobium processed parts are widely used in high-end industrial fields such as aerospace, chemical, nuclear industry, electronics, and medical, becoming the core choice to replace traditional metal materials in extreme environments.
The properties of niobium processed parts are derived from the unique properties of niobium metal, while achieving functional adaptation through different processing techniques.
Outstanding high temperature resistance, able to maintain stable mechanical strength even at high temperatures of 1000-1600 ℃ (tensile strength can reach over 170MPa at 1200 ℃), and non brittle in low temperature environments (such as liquid helium temperature range -269 ℃), suitable for all scenarios from deep cold to high temperature requirements; Excellent corrosion resistance, the dense oxide film (Nb ₂ O ₅) formed on the surface in normal to medium temperature environments can resist most corrosive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and organic acids (except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated nitric acid), with a lifespan far exceeding that of stainless steel and titanium alloys.
Pure niobium and some niobium alloys have good ductility and plasticity, and can be made into various forms such as plates, rods, and pipes through processes such as cold rolling, hot rolling, and stretching. They can also be customized into complex shaped structures (such as crucibles, flanges, and nuts) through cutting, stamping, and welding; After processing, internal stress can be eliminated through annealing process (700-900 ℃ insulation) to avoid cracking during subsequent use.
Low neutron absorption cross section (only 1.1 target energy), which can reduce nuclear reaction interference and adapt to nuclear industry scenarios; Good conductivity and superconducting properties (some niobium alloys such as Nb Ti exhibit superconducting states at low temperatures), meeting the requirements of electronic and superconducting devices; Excellent biocompatibility, non-toxic to the human body, non allergenic, and can be used for medical implant devices.
The density of niobium is 8.57g/cm ³, which is only 80% of steel and 40% of tungsten. While ensuring strength, it can reduce structural weight, especially suitable for the aerospace industry's demand for "lightweight+high strength"; And the coefficient of thermal expansion is relatively low (7.3 × 10 ⁻⁶/℃ at 20-100 ℃), with minimal deformation under temperature changes, ensuring long-term operational stability of the equipment.
