What are the excellent properties of niobium foil?

The following is a product introduction about niobium foil:
Common ones include Nb1 and Nb2. Usually ≥ 99.95%, there are also products with a purity of up to 99.99%. Approximately 8.57g/cm ³. The melting point is relatively high, at 2468 ℃.
The surface state includes alkaline washing, polishing, black skin, etc. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, moderate hardness, high ductility, and a wide working temperature range.
In the electrolyte, a nanoscale Nb ₂ O ₅ passivation film can spontaneously form, with significantly better chemical stability than copper and aluminum oxides. In the electrolyte containing LiPF ₆, the corrosion current density is one order of magnitude lower than that of copper foil, and the passivation film has self-healing ability after damage.
The thermal expansion coefficient is highly matched with the NCM positive electrode, which can reduce interface delamination caused by thermal stress during cycling. The interface reaction activity with high nickel positive electrodes is lower than that with aluminum, and can suppress the dissolution of transition metals.
It can be used to produce heating components, insulation components, and loading vessels for vacuum blast furnaces, and is also an ideal current collector material in lithium-ion batteries. Used for making various vessel components such as steamers, heaters, coolers, etc. It can also be used as structural materials for aviation and aerospace engines, internal components of reactors, and cladding materials. Niobium is a good "biocompatible material", and niobium foil can be used to compensate for skull damage, etc.
The production process usually adopts continuous rolling+annealing process, which can achieve mass production of niobium foil with a width of 1.2m and a thickness of 3 μ m-10 μ m, and a surface roughness CV value of<10%.
