Vacuum furnace safety operating procedures
Preparation for opening the furnace
Check whether the water source, power supply, and gas source are normal. The cooling water of the vacuum furnace is not allowed to be interrupted during the entire working period.
Check whether all parts of the furnace are in normal condition. Check whether each joint is tight and check the insulation resistance. It should be greater than 1002
Check that the heat insulation, air isolation valve and bleed valve should be closed.
Turn on the main power switch.
The main power supply is closed, and the main switches on the voltage regulator and control box are closed. Turn on the compressed air and water cooling system switches.
Check whether the air supply system is normal.
Requirements at work
1. When loading, make sure it is stable to prevent the workpiece from falling. The material tray must be positioned accurately to avoid collision between the material tray and the heating chamber, and overload operation is strictly prohibited.
2. After the material tray enters the cold chamber, the fixed pins must be inserted to secure the car inside the furnace. Feeding and retrieving:
3. Feed at high position, take material at middle and low position, otherwise the hot cell components will be damaged. When feeding and retrieving materials, the vacuum degree of the hot and cold chambers should be equal.
4. Transmission process and heating. During the heating process, parameters such as water pressure, water flow, and water temperature should be frequently observed. It is strictly forbidden to stop the water supply midway. Once the water supply is stopped, the backup water source should be opened in time.
5. When the vacuum furnace is in operation, operators must stick to their posts.
6. Take the material and quench it in oil. Before quenching, the quenching oil must be degassed in advance; when taking materials for quenching, the cold chamber must be vacuum. To prevent fire and explosion.
7. Open the cold room door. Before opening the cold room door, the cold room temperature must not be higher than 60℃
8. When the furnace is shut down, the heater is powered off and the cooling water continues to cool.
9. After the workpiece comes out of the furnace, close the furnace door and manually evacuate to maintain the vacuum state in the furnace.
10. The hot chamber valve and hot chamber vacuum pump can be stopped only when the hot chamber temperature is less than 300℃; the hot chamber door can be opened only when the hot chamber temperature is less than 150℃. When the temperature of the hot chamber is less than 150℃, the air source, water source and main power switch can be turned off.
Note: Clean the hot chamber of the vacuum furnace regularly, check whether the heating element of the hot chamber is loose, and check whether the ventilation pipe of the vacuum carburizing furnace is blocked. Strictly follow the operation manual
