Nickel 201 (N02201) pure nickel alloy is a pure nickel alloy composed of trace elements such as manganese and copper and main nickel. It has excellent mechanical properties and excellent resistance in many corrosive environments. Other useful features of this alloy include its magnetic function, magnetoelastic function, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content, and low transpiration pressure. The corrosion resistance of Nickel 201 makes it particularly useful in applications such as food, man-made fibers, and caustic that require product purity to be ensured. It is also widely used in structural applications when corrosion resistance is a primary consideration. Other applications include chemical transfer drums, electrical and electronic components, and aerospace and missile components.

Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 are structural materials approved by the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Nickel 200 is approved for service temperatures up to 600°F (315°C) and Nickel 201 is approved for service temperatures up to 1250°F (677°C).
