(3) Research on the failure mechanism of tantalum weld. At present, the research on the damage mechanism of tantalum welds at home and abroad is relatively weak, and tantalum is in service with high temperatures and a strong corrosion environment, and the damage mechanism of tantalum welds can effectively guide the improvement of the welding process and tissue regulation, which is one of the main directions of tantalum welding research.

(4) Welding equipment trend: welding heat source to higher energy density equipment development, laser welding, and electron beam welding has become the ideal welding heat source for tantalum.
