
Capacitor Tantalum Wire
Sixty percent of the world's tantalum is used to make tantalum capacitors, and tantalum targets are used in semiconductor devices and liquid crystal display technology. Tantalum carbide tools, drilling tools, and other tools can withstand temperatures of nearly 3,000°C. Its hardness is comparable to that of a diamond. Capacitor tantalum wires does not react chemically to hydrochloric acid, concentrated nitric acid, or "aqua regos" under hot or cold conditions.
Tantalum wires manufacturing methods are divided into two categories: powder metallurgy method
The process flow is the raw material (tantalum powder) → mixing → forming → draping → spinning → intermediate annealing → drawing → finished product annealing → quality inspection → packaging into storage.
Melting method
The process flow is the raw material (tantalum powder) → mixing → forming → pre-sintering → electron beams melting → fine forging → intermediate annealing → spins forging → intermediate annealing → drawing → finished product annealing → quality inspection → packaging into storage.
Tantalum wires classification can be divided into four categories in total:
1. categories according to chemical purity:
(1) metallurgical tantalum wires, purity 99.0% Ta;
(2) high-purity tantalum wires, purity 99.0% to 99.9% Ta;
(3) ultra-high-purity tantalum wires, purity 99.9% to 99.99% Ta.
2. categories according to performance:
(1) chemical corrosion-resistant tantalum wires;
(2) high-temperature resistant high-strength tantalum wires;
3. categories:
(1) soft-state (M), tensile strength σb=300~600MPa;
(2)semi-hard state (Y2), tensile strength σb=600~1000MPa;
(3) hard states (Y), tensile strength σb>1000MPa. capacitor grades tantalum wires is mainly used for making anode leads of tantalum electrolytic capacitors. Capacitor-grade tantalum wires can be divided into more than 30 varieties according to different states and different specifications. The smallest diameter tantalum wires is Φ0.10mm. It can also be made into tantalum yarn or tantalum net. Tantalum wires is the key material for making tantalum capacitors, and tantalum capacitors are the most excellent capacitors, and about 65% of tantalum in the world is used in this field.
Capacitor tantalum wires is the most used for the electronics industry, mainly for the anode leads of tantalum electrolytic capacitors. Highly oxygen-resistant brittle tantalum wires are also used in the manufacture of tantalum foil capacitors, which can be run in potassium dichromate and sulfuric acid make solutions at 772 high temperatures (100°C) and particularly high flash fire voltages (350V). In addition, tantalum wires are used as vacuum electron cathode emission sources, ion sputtering and coating materials.
