Seamless tungsten tubes features

1. the tungsten tube has a fairly high purity, generally 99.95% or more, of purity

2. Its density is 18.2g/cm3 or more.

3. the recommended working temperature should be below 2500°C.

4. the temperature of tungsten tubes is 0.2965 at 2027°C

5. a coefficient of thermal expansion of 4.98x10-6 at 1600°C

6. a specific heat capacity of 0.16 J/g°C at 1400°C

7. the tungsten tube has very low contamination.

1. the solid billet is inspected, surface defects are removed and cut to the required length

2. with the pierced end of the billet as the centre, it is then fed into a heating furnace for heating and pierced on a piercing machine

3. During the piercing process, while continuously rotating and advancing, the internal cavity of the billet is gradually formed under the action of the rolls and top head, called the hairpin.

4. It is then sent to the automatic tube rolling mill to continue rolling.

5. Finally, the wall thickness is evenly adjusted by a balancing machine and sized by a sizing machine to meet the specifications.

Seamless tungsten tubes can be divided into round tubes and shaped tubes according to their shape.
