Material Basis: Nb-1Zr Alloy Composition: Niobium (Nb) ≥98.8%, Zirconium (Zr) 0.8%–1.2% - Core Properties - High Strength and High Plasticity: 30%–50% higher strength than pure niobium, while still maintaining good ductility High Temperature Resistance: Melting point around 2400℃, stable at high temperatures - Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to acids and alkalis, molten alkali metals, and liquid sodium corrosion Good Weldability: TIG/electron beam welding, weld strength ≈ 90% of base material - Thermal/Electrical Conductivity: Good, suitable for vacuum, high temperature, and electrical components Nb-1Zr ingots/billets are processed through hot processing + cold processing + machining to produce: Plates/strips/foils: thin plates, foils Rods/wires/filaments: round rods, square rods, thin filaments Tubes/fittings: seamless tubes, welded tubes Precision parts: flanges, bolts, crucibles, boats, electrodes, heat shields, reactor components, sodium lamp parts, etc. Typical Processing Flow 1. Melting: Vacuum electron beam/consumable arc furnace → alloy ingots 2. Hot blooming: Hot forging/hot extrusion → rod/plate/tube billets 3. Plastic processing: Rolling, drawing, spinning → semi-finished products 4. Heat treatment: Vacuum annealing, solution treatment, aging (Y-state: cold work hardened state) 5.
