The production process of tantalum gaskets includes steps such as forging, cold rolling, and polishing. These processes ensure the excellent performance and high quality of tantalum gaskets. Cold rolling is the further processing of the billet into shims of the desired thickness, usually using a two roll or four roll rolling mill for rolling, with a compression rate of over 95%. Then press the shape of the mold gasket to come up with the desired gasket shape.

In specific operations, special attention should be paid to the high reactivity and brittleness issues of tantalum processing.
