Tantalum flange introduction
Flange, also known as flange flange or flange. Flange is a part that connects pipes to each other and is used to connect pipe ends; there are also flanges used on equipment inlets and outlets, used to connect two devices, such as reducer flanges. Flange connection or flange joint refers to a detachable connection that is connected by flanges, gaskets and bolts as a combined sealing structure. Product packaging and transportation
1. Inner packaging materials
Plastic film/bubble film:
Used to wrap a single flange to provide moisture and shock protection. Bubble film is especially suitable for small-sized flanges (such as below DN50).
Rust-proof paper/VCI film:
VCI (vapor phase rust prevention) film releases rust-proof gas and is suitable for metal flanges for long-term storage or sea transportation (such as Inconel 718 flange export transportation).
Linen/flannel:
Used for high-end or precision flanges (such as mirror sealing surfaces) to reduce friction damage.
2. Outer packaging materials
Wooden box:
Ordinary wooden box: Suitable for small and medium-sized flanges (below DN200), fixed with wooden strips in the box, and filled with foam boards in the gaps.
Fumigated wooden box: Export goods must comply with international plant quarantine standards (such as ISPM 15) to prevent wood from carrying pests. It is often used for large-sized flanges (above DN300) or bulk packaging.
Carton/Corrugated Box:
Suitable for small size, low weight flanges (such as DN15~DN50), requiring multi-layer reinforcement, and marked with "fragile" and "upward" on the outside of the box.
