Between 50% and 70% of the world's tantalum is used to make tantalum capacitors in the form of capacitor-grade tantalum powder and tantalum wire. As the surface of tantalum forms a dense and stable amorphous oxide film with high dielectric strength, it is easy to accurately and conveniently control the anodising process of the capacitor, while the sintered blocks of tantalum powder
Therefore, tantalum capacitors have high capacitance, low leakage current, low equivalent series current limit, good high and low-temperature characteristics, long service life and excellent overall performance, which are difficult to be matched by other capacitors.

Tantalum Metal Screws Uses: Used for making heating parts for vacuum blast furnaces, and heat insulation parts, in the chemical industry can be used to make boilers, heaters, coolers, all kinds of vessel devices, etc., level in aviation, aerospace industry, medical equipment and other fields have a wide range of applications.
The production process for tantalum metal screws is divided into 7 steps, namely annealing, pickling, wire drawing, forming, grinding of teeth, and heat treatment level surface treatment.
Annealing process: The product to be treated first is placed in the furnace and then closed with the lid. One furnace can treat 8.4 tons at the same time. The temperature is then slowly increased to the required temperature, this step takes 3-4 hours. The temperature is then slowly increased to 550°C, which takes 3-4 hours before the product is allowed to cool naturally to room temperature. This process adjusts the crystalline organisation, reduces the hardness and improves the processability of the wire at room temperature.
Acid washing process: The purpose of acid washing is to remove the oxide film from the wire, now the whole disc is invaded into three hydrochloric acid baths at room temperature and a concentration of 20-35 for a few minutes. The surface of the wire is then clear of the hydrochloric acid corrosion with water. In order to produce a tighter film in the next process, oxalic acid is used to increase the activity of the metal. The steel surface is brought into contact with the chemical treatment solution, which dissolves with the steel to form a compound that adheres to the surface of the screw to form a skin. The residue on the surface is then removed with water. The lubricant is then used to increase its lubricity.
The wire drawing process: the use of fine and coarse drawing for some products to cold draw the disc element to the required wire diameter. This process is used for large screws, nuts and bars.
Forming process: There are two types of forming for hexagonal bolts one is four moulds and four punches or three moulds and three punches, but three moulds and three punches. Screws are one mould and two punches. Then the hot beating, the hot beating is divided into three steps, the first step will be the product into the heating equipment according to product specifications setting the heating time and temperature. In the second step, after heating, the product is moved to the forming machine and moulded. The product is then shrunk by extrusion with a rod-binding machine.
Thread lapping process: The semi-finished product is lapped or tapped to achieve the required thread.
Heat treatment process: Heat treatment is required to improve the mechanical properties of the material, eliminate residual stress and improve the machinability of the metal. Depending on the requirements of the product, both preparatory heat treatment and final treatment can be used.
Surface treatment: electroplating, hot-dip galvanising and mechanical galvanising are used to form a cover layer on the surface of the product, giving it a beautiful, anti-corrosive effect.
