Tantalum-niobium alloys are alloys based on tantalum with the addition of niobium and other elements.
There are two types of corrosion-resistant and capacitor types. The main grades of the former are KB141 (37.5% Nb, 2.5% W, 2.0% Mo, residual tantalum), Ta-3Nb, etc.
The latter mainly has Ta-25Nb, Ta-10Nb, etc.
Excellent low-temperature ductility, tensile strength of 517GPa, and good corrosion resistance are all characteristics of the KB141 alloy. For example, the corrosion rate in 20% hydrochloric acid is only 2.5 m/a. Tantalum-niobium alloy is mainly used in the chemical industry.
Ta-25Nb alloy leakage current is only 0.133μA/cm2, used as a film-type electrolytic capacitor. It is produced by powder metallurgy.

Niobium alloys are alloys consisting of niobium based on the addition of other elements.
