In the metal capillary tube manufacturing industry, in the manufacture of ultra-thin-walled tantalum capillaries, due to the lack of mastery of the annealing process, the lack of mastery of the tube stretching process, and the lack of precision stretching machines, it is not possible to manufacture a capillary tube with an external diameter of 6mm or more and a wall thickness of 0.03mm or less.

In order to solve the shortcomings of the above technology, we have developed a manufacturing process for tantalum capillaries, which is capable of producing qualified ultra-thin-walled capillary tubes.

The following processes are used:

1, annealing process, according to the outer diameter and wall thickness of different annealing temperatures mastered in 800-1200 degrees, holding time between 5_15 minutes, annealing the effective temperature zone temperature difference of not more than 10 degrees, annealing vacuum level should be above 10_4, vacuum natural cooling.

2, stretching process requirements, the wall thickness of 0.1mm below the manufacturing process, a single extension rate of not more than 10%, and the total extension of the cycle does not exceed 20% cumulative.

3, special stretching equipment, the use of a vibration-free spiral hydraulic pipe stretching machine, to reduce the problem of rupture in the stretching process. The beneficial effect of this method is: after the above process processing, it is able to break through several key technologies to manufacture ultra-thin-walled tantalum capillary tubes below 0.03mm.
